Wax On: Tuberiding on a River in Africa
The coolest thing in surfing this week.
Getting tubed is about as cool as it gets. Riding through a moving liquid crystal cavern of ocean energy, wide-eyed and breathing air as water spins and explodes all around you is the coolest thing you can do in surfing. It might be one of the cooler things you can do in life.
But if that’s not enough for you, you can always search out other ways to get tubed, nowhere near the ocean, on a raging river, in the middle of the African continent. (Thanks to Adventure Journal for finding this one.)
