Campaign News: Florian Schulz Speaking Tour is a Hit

Wildlife photographer extraordinaire Florian Schulz was on board the Havsel ice breaker as our crew was filming To The Arctic 3D in Svalbard, Norway. He has also spent over 18 months on his own in the Arctic and produced a companion book, To The Arctic (buy here), that is as stunning as the movie. He’s already hit seven stops on a 13-city speaking tour and has given audiences not only an incredible and rare glimpse into the magic of the Arctic, but a first-hand account of what it’s like to go there and actually get the photos. Diving under ice in 29 degree water? Waking up to a massive male polar bear outside your tent? No problem if you’re Florian Schulz.

He has also done a few TV interviews, like this.

Florian connected with audiences everywhere he went. Here he is at the Great Lakes Science Center, in Cleveland.
